Two months into my sabbatical after leaving the UN, I've found myself in a surprising place: thriving and recovering.

I know it's 2025, and here I am writing my first blog post like it's 2004. In a world obsessed with short-form content, I've decided to swim against the digital current. As a San Franciscan who's called Switzerland home for the past decade, I've realized that my career sabbatical thoughts just can't be contained in 300-word posts or fleeting stories. This blog will be my space where I can document my journey, share my adventures both grand and small, and reconnect with the joy of long-form expression. Sorry but not sorry for being old fashioned!
